Although linoleum is also easy to clean, it needs slightly more attention and care. Linoleum is made from natural components like linseed oil, tree resin, wood and cork flours, limestone, and pigments. Linoleum is available in a wide range of colors and patterns. Linoleum doesn't show scratches and is flexible. It is naturally biodegradable, and so it does not add to waste problems, as does vinyl flooring.
